At the End of a Long Day

Being the head of an international crime syndicate is not always as glamorous a job as one might imagine.  Take Purple Vixen, for example.  Some days, nothing seems to go right.  Plots foiled.  Punches to the face.  Arrested hench girls to bail out.  Leaky pipes in the lair and how to find a good plumber.  A notice from the electric company threatening to turn off the power if the overdue bills aren't paid.  And on and on.  The pressures can be overwhelming at times.

On those occasions, sometimes, of an evening, Vixen just leaves the control room early, goes to her apartments in the lair, locks the door, powers off her communicators, takes off her battle helmet, pours herself a bourbon and ginger, and takes a few long, slow drags on a cigarette, just to relax a little.  This is usually followed up with a long bubble bath and a good night's sleep.  And then when the sun rises again, Purple Vixen is rested, relaxed and ready to go take on another day.

This beautiful art was commissioned by me from the wonderful who also did my Vixen avatar.  She did another awesome job, especially of showing off her softer, more feminine side.
