Survival of the Fittest II

But before Purple Vixen could throw the teenaged girl into the gutter, she let out a low, menacing growl - "Let goo of my HAAAAAIR!" the last word punctuated by a horrible shriek.  Purple Vixen stopped in her tracks, a bit taken aback and Sabina took two steps back.  The girl then rammed her right elbow into the exposed stomach of Purple Vixen.  'OOOOOOF!' Vixen said as she bent forward, letting go of her victim's hair in order to hold her aching belly.  The girl, still on her knees, then reached back with both hands and yanked Vixen's left leg forward, causing the villainess to topple backwards onto the hard concrete.  In a split second, the now quite lively girl straddled her prone nemesis.  She punched Vixen's face twice, but with Vixen still resisting, she pulled out a knife and held it at Vixen's neck.  "Give up and say your sorry!  Or I'll slit your stinking throat!"  Sabina looked shocked as she saw her powerful mentor taken down in a split second by a vagabond teenager.  Sabina's mind raced.  Should she try to help Purple Vixen?  But then she might get HER throat slit!  That girl - so fast and strong!  But finally Sabina remembered Vixen's words about the survival of the fittest.  "This must be a test," she thought.  Sabina quickly judged that running away would be the most effective way of ensuring her own survival.  She knew Vixen could take care of herself.
