Showdown at Alicia's Gym I

Alicia's Gym was the most popular fitness center in Eden City.  The revenue it generated kept Alicia comfortable, but more important, gave her the freedom to pursue her nocturnal crusade against crime.  But this left very little time for her to work on her own body.  She could not train full strength with the public present, or else her enhanced physical powers would be exposed.  So she had to settle for the wee hours of the morning, when even the criminals were abed.  Or so Alicia thought ...

Alicia was on her fifth set of reps lifting the 300 pound weight with her right arm.  "OK, now for the left ... " she said to herself.  "Very impressive.  Veeery impressive!"  Alicia recognized that arrogant, flinty voice.  "Vixen!" Alicia said as she glared at the violet-clad villainess, surrounded by four of her LILAC hench girls. "What rock did you slither out from underneath?" Alicia hissed.  "Oh, Alicia!  So inhospitable!  Why, you haven't even offered me and my girls a cup of tea or a power bar.  I would think you'd be grateful that I've spared you the trouble of looking for me." Purple Vixen said with a chuckle. "Now why in the world would I be looking for you?" Alicia growled.  "I have an offer for you, Alicia.  You've been a thorn in my organization's side for quite some time.  You are the only reason I haven't been able to put Eden City in my pocket.  So here's my offer.  Work for me.  With you on my side, there's nothing we couldn't do.  I'll make you rich beyond your wildest imagination.  I think you'd like the taste of power I can offer you."

"Taste of power?" Alicia repeated as she laughed mockingly.  "I must have really caused some brain damage in that noggin of yours when I clobbered you and Mirage Lady!  Cuz you'd have to be brain damaged to think I would sign on with a bunch of low-life losers like you and these bimbos of yours.  Forget about it, Vixen!  There's no way I'm going to work for you.  So get the fuck out of my gym before I put my boot up your sorry asses!" Alicia said defiantly.

Purple Vixen looked down at the floor and let out a sigh.  "I knew you'd say that, Alicia.  But I felt I had to at least ask.  Of course, I had no intention of actually making you my lieutenant.  I would have just waited for the first opportunity to double cross you, and put you out of my misery for good, cuz that's just the kinda gal I am.  But since you were too smart to fall for my little trap, we will just have to take care of you the old-fashioned way."  Purple Vixen then stood up straight and thrust out her arm, pointing at Alicia.  "LILACs, attack!"
